The following are a few of our personal favorites in various places in the
world. Some may be five star or others, a drive-through, or a
"greasy spoon". We even know of one place that bills
itself as "five-star" fast food joint.
The following reviews are simply our
opinions of the establishments when we visited and does imply or
guarantee that the food and service will be of the same standard
when you visit. Please tell us about your experience. |

Ossie's Lunch
Highway 1 Between Saint John & Saint
Andrews
in New Brunswick, Canada
The absolute best Fish & Chips,
Clams, Shrimp & Scallops ANYWHERE! In mid-summer, there well
may be long line-ups but it's worth the wait. No inside dining but
there are covered picnic tables.

Red Mesa Grill
Traverse City, MI
Sure, you've been to
lot of Mexican restaurants before but Mexican is only a small
part of their very adventuresome menu. It's billed as "The Taste
of Latin America", prepared to cause you make oooing, aaaahing
& mmmming sounds. Superb food and atmosphere. |

Bob's Place
In Alanson, Michigan.
GREAT Simple Food, but be warned,
the decor or the clientele have not changed since 1963. |
J&S Hamburgs (no
web)
In Traverse City, Michigan
Traverse City again? Yes! The best damn hamburgers we have
ever had. The decor is circa 1958 & the fixins' for your burger
are garden fresh! |

in the Fairmont Algonquin Resort in
Saint Andrews-by-the-Sea, NB
First Class gourmet dining in the
most peaceful old world atmosphere east of Bora-Bora

Bar-B-Cutie
You haven't lived until you've had
"Bar-b-cue"... Tennessee style and these folks are some of the
best y'all! But we're worried. They were a simple
standalone in Nashville now they're expanding to 19 stores. |
